First time ordering food from this location.... Food is excellent.. They do not accept credit cards.... The reason for only 4 stars is because the employee was not wearing a mask which is required to during the Corona Virus Epidemic...
If you haven't eaten here or ordered delivery yet... you're sleeping on some greatness. I'm originally from the south, and fried chicken is one of those things your mom or grandma makes you growing up... so you get picky about fried chicken. I live in the neighborhood and I've passed this place multiple times but just never walked in. And let me tell you that was a mistake. I ordered for the first time on July 4th after I read another review stating it was way way better than KFC.... and that's an understatement. I got a 5 piece with mashed potatoes and ordered the potato wedges (I love potato wedges done right). Not only was it easy to order (via yelp), the delivery was fast, the delivery person was super friendly, and even opening the bag I saw everything was neat and well put together (nothings worse than opening a bag and seeing your food chaotically thrown around). Immediately from the first bite I was sold. Absolutely amazing. The wedges were amazing too! It was easily the best fried chicken and potato wedges I've had in a long long time. And at a great price. It was so good I wanted my son the next day to experience it so I ordered again. Guess what? Exactly the same. Consistency is huge to me.. just amazing. And guess what? I heard today is National Fried Chicken day so guess what I'm gonna order later? Don't mess up and miss out my friends... this place is killing it.
Every time I order from this place it never fails ! Their fried chicken has to be some of the best I've had thus far in the Hudson county. Definitely better than KFC. Crunchy and yet tender ! Yum.
My rating is 3.75-4.0. The chicken is actually pretty good especially for a late night delivery. Every time I get my order, the pieces are always consistent and crunchy with a hint of extra salt. The burgers look good however I've never order one. The zinger wings are also good! This chicken is the same as Kennedy fried, Obama fried, New York fried, and Crown fried chicken spots. I believe they all use the same deep fried pressurized cooking method and it works just fine. This chicken is actually better than KFC in my opinion. It's not expensive so order a 4 piece and give it a shot!
